ACP Ending Soon

Valley Communications shares important information about the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and its upcoming changes.  As you may know, the ACP currently pays $30 of your monthly internet service bill for qualified members.  However, due to a lack of additional funding from Congress, the program is expected to end in April 2024.

Unless Congress appropriates additional funding, the ACP program will be ending.  If you are a participant of this program, we encourage you to contact your Congressmen and Senator to urge them to continue funding the program.  To assist we have drafted letters on your behalf.

We understand that this news may be concerning, and we want to assure you that we are here to help you navigate this transition.  Here are some key things to know:

Impact on Your Service:

  • Current Program Benefits: If enrolled and still eligible in the ACP, you will continue receiving your monthly $30 payment towards your communications bill through April 2024.
  • After April 2024: Your monthly internet bill will increase by the amount of the prior ACP payment of $30 after April 2024.
  • Options: You may continue your Valley Communications subscription or opt out of the service altogether before the program ends.
